T.I. and Ebenezer Baptist Church Work to End Mass Incarceration

The late Martin Luther King Jr.’s home church in Atlanta will be the home for a three-day conference to address mass incarcerations. Famous rapper and artists, T.I., who is a local to Atlanta will be lending his voice for the project along with Rev. Raphael Warnock who will both be speaking at the End Mass Incarceration Conference that will run Monday (June 17) through Wednesday (June 19.)

The goals of the conference include helping communities to fight the rise of the prison industrial complex in the United States and systems that unfairly imprison people of color. The church said that T.I. will be participating in helping to bail out of jail dozens of poor and working-class citizens in the Atlanta area.
