Many celebrities took to social media to celebrate World Pride Day, but one artists who took some by surprise was Lil Nas X. The “Old Town Road” rapper took to social media about his sexuality on World Pride Day to honor his truth. He posted on Twitter confirming himself as a member of the LGBTQ community with visuals for his song, “C7osure (You Like)” and captioned, “”Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.” He ended the tweet with a rainbow emoji, star eyed emoji and sparkly stars emoji.

Lil Nas X felt he made it obvious through his lyrics from the song that state, “”True say, I want and I need/ To let go, use my time to be free” and “Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow.” Although he did not formally specify what his sexuality is, he followed up with more tweets to spark even more speculation.
