The 7 season prison sentence is almost over. Netflix announced that the final season of their show Orange Is The New Black will start streaming on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Season 7’s release date comes after the streaming site announced in October 2018 that the new season will be the series’ last one. The show’s creator, Jenji Kohan, stated, “After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”
The teaser gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Orange Is The New Black set while cast members including Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Taylor Schilling, and others sing the show’s theme song, “You’ve Got Time” by Regina Spektor.
