We’ve grown to love Black-ish, the sitcom television series that follows an upper middle class African-American family led by Andre Johnson (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross). The show shared the family’s lives and how they juggle several personal and sociopolitical issues.

The series then added a spin-off, Grown-ish, following the eldest daughter as she travelled to college. The show follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) as she experiences the typical college struggles and obstacles that come with it.
Black-ish is now adding another spin-off that will focus on Tracee’s character Rainbow Jackson. Meet Mixed-ish, a new sitcom where the year is 1985 and Rainbow is 12, mixed, and the new kid at school.
