Beyoncé and Jay Z are expecting TWINS. She made the announcement yesterday on Instagram, with a photo where she’s sitting in front of a floral arrangement in her underwear, with a veil over her head.
And in the caption she said,”We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”
There’s no word on the sex of the kids, but somebody on Twitter thinks she’s having a boy AND a girl, because in the picture there’s a pink bow on her bra, and her panties are blue.

There’s also no word how far along she is, but she’s got a decent sized bump going. The medical experts over at E! Online think she’s about five months in.
They also say that she picked yesterday for the announcement because it coincides with her favorite number, which is 4. Here’s how that works: Yesterday was 2/1/2017. Add up those six numbers and you get 13. And 1 plus 3 equals 4.
Jay and Beyoncé already have a 5-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy. (Put “I” and “V” together, and you have the Roman numeral for four.)
Beyoncé is one of the headliners at Coachella in April, and sources say yesterday’s announcement even came as a surprise to the organizers. But as far as anyone knows, she’s not canceling.
She’s also expected at the Grammys a week from Sunday, but there’s no word if she’s supposed to perform.
One last note on the Photo: Some people are pointing out that it looks cheesy, like something you’d get at JC Penney. Well, JC Penney responded, using a perfect quote from “Formation.”
And cheesy or not, the public has spoken: It’s now the most-liked picture on Instagram with over 7 million likes. It took mere HOURS to eclipse the 6.3 million likes SELENA GOMEZ got for what was basically a Coke ad.
